KIMBERLY BREECE

Kimberly Breece, 43, of Oologah, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Services were held July 2 at Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Collinsville.



JERRY EHRCKE

Jerry Leroy Ehrcke, 45, of Jacksonville, Ark. passed away June 13, 2009. He was born April 13, 1964 in Oklahoma City to Wolfgang Guenther Ehrcke and Dorothy Lee (Barger) Ehrcke. He was a 1982 graduate of Oologah High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1982-2008. He was stationed in Japan for ten years and participated in Desert Storm and the Iraq War. He is survived by one son, Cassidy Jerry Ehrcke of Tulsa; two daughters, Rachel Lee Ehrcke of Cabot, Ark. and Quanlathia Ehrcke of Jacksonville, Ark.; one granddaughter, Lilly Halliburton; his mother, Dorothy; two sisters, Marie Caffey Hoss and her husband, Mark, and Angela Baden and her husband, John III; two nieces; two nephews and two great-nephews, all of Oologah. Visitation will be Friday and Saturday, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Oologah Dolton Funeral Home. Graveside will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 21 in Fairview Cemetery in Talala under the direction of Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.



HAROLD GENE HARPER

Harold Gene Harper, 70, of Talala, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2009 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 23, 1939 in Talala to William Berton Harper and Clara E. (Philpott) Harper. He was a 1957 graduate of Talala High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-1961. He married Sharron Faye Howell on May 3, 1963 at the First Church of God in Nowata. In 1973, he and his family moved to Talala, where he worked as Road Superintendent for Rogers County before starting his own construction company, Harco. He is survived by his wife, Sharron, of the home; three sons, Damon L. Dierolf and his wife Sandy of Oologah, Tony Mondragon of Veguita, NM and Jeff Harper and his wife Michelle of Tulsa; one daughter, Kathy Shirley and her husband David of Talala; one sister, Radine Stinnett of Nowata; ten grandchildren, Jeremiah Gene Harper, Heather Mondragon, Justin David Shirley, Vincent Dierolf, Austin Gene Shirley, Brooke McGehee, Mayci McGehee, Andrew Dierolf, Taylor Rayne Harper and Tesla Ranaye Harper; one great-granddaughter, Montanah McGehee and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18 at Talala First Christian Church with Rev. Joe Goodin officiating. Burial was in Talala Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kan. Family and friends may leave an online condolence at www.penwellgabel.com



GEORGE HENRY LAMBERSON, JR.

Former Rogers County Commissioner George Henry Lamberson, Jr., 84, an Oologah native, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. He was born Nov. 11, 1924 to George H. and Walsa (Brewer) Lamberson. George and his family lived across the street from the Methodist Church in Oologah. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in the battles of Omaha Beach, St. Lo and the Battle of the Bulge and was stationed in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. He married hometown girl Loraine Jones in 1946. In 1952 he ran for the Rogers County District 2 County Commissioners seat and held that office for 26 years. Accomplishments during his tenure included the construction of the Winganon Crossing and the Port of Catoosa and the blacktopping of almost all of the rural roads in District 2, both projects of which he was very proud. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Loraine, of their home in Oologah; his sons, George H. Lamberson, III and wife, Elizabeth, and Jack R. Lamberson and wife, Connie, all of Oologah; grandchildren, George H. Lamberson, IV and wife, Christie, of Claremore, Malinda Milikin and husband, Aaron, of Oologah, and Aaron Lamberson and wife, Carly, of Talala; and six great grandchildren. Services were to be held at 11 a.m., Wed., May 20 at Oologah First Baptist Church under the direction of Rice Funeral Service. Burial was to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah.             



EDWARD LEE REYNOLDS

Edward Lee Reynolds, 77, of Collinsville, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 in Collinsville. He was born Nov. 16, 1931 in Tulsa to Charles Dee Reynolds and the former Onie Cobb. He is survived by his wife, Linda Reynolds of the home; five children, Allen Lee Reynolds of Oologah, Karla Dee Studie and her husband Andy of Collinsville, Jackie Lynn Reynolds of Collinsville, Kevin Leroy Reynolds of Collinsville and Scott Marvin Reynolds of Tulsa; grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of other friends and relatives. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 15 at Ridgelawn Cemetery with Jeremy Switzer officiating. Services were under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

C.L. GREEN

C.L. “Buck” Green, 82, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009 in Claremore. He was born March 3, 1927 in Claremore to John Loyd and Lucinda Kelley Green. He drove a Greyhound bus for 31 year and was a member of the Claremore Elks Lodge. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Jean Lively, Fannie Keys, Juanita Keys, Dorothy and Ed Wofford, Tom and Billie Green, Hugh and Patsy Green, Mike Green, Dodie and Clay Mayes, Kenneth Davis, Kyle and Linda Davis, Emaloyd Mullanax, and Jack and Glenda Cook. Services were held Tuesday, May 5 at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Charlie Lehman officiating. Burial was in Washington Cemetery.



SAM RABBITT

Sam Rabbitt, 76, of Collinsville passed away Monday, April 27, 2009 in Collinsville. He was born Aug. 14, 1932 in Mazie to Nuddie Rabbitt and the former Ida Sulateskee. He had worked as a welder and was a pastor of the Amazing Grace Tabernacle Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rabbitt of the home; four children, Sheena Rabbitt of Collinsville, Floyd Rabbit and his wife, Vivian, of Collinsville, Marilyn Fields of Skiatook, and David Rabbitt and his wife, Tina, of Collinsville; one brother, Willie Rabbitt and his wife, Mary, of Oologah; one sister, Eliza Hamilton and her husband, Richard, of Claremore; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several friends and relatives. A wake service was held at 5 p.m., Thursday, April 30 and funeral services were at 11a.m., Friday, May 1 both at Amazing Grace Tabernacle. Burial was in Sandridge Cemetery under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.



FINAS WILLIAM FREEMAN

Finas William Freeman, 60, longtime resident of Oologah, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at St. John Continued Care Unit. He was born Aug. 2, 1948 in Tulsa to Norman L. Freeman and Dortha A. Freeman. Immediately after graduating from Oologah High School in 1966 he went to work for Tulsa Hinderliter Heat Treating that later became Bodycote Thermal Processing. He worked for Bodycote for 42 years before becoming ill in Jan. 2009. He was an avid race fan. He is survived by his wife, Pam of the home; mother, Dortha A. Freeman of Oologah; one daughter, Brandi Schrembs and husband, George, of Oologah; one son, Kyle Freeman and wife, Jessica, of Oologah; grandchildren, Gia, Kelsey and Denver Schrembs, Taylor Cullum, Korbin and Tycis Sloan; one sister, Elizabeth Jane Lamberson and husband, George, of Oologah; one brother, Norman Lee Freeman of Tulsa and numerous nieces and nephews.Service were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 28 at the Nick Reynolds Funeral Service Chapel in Collinsville with Rev. Jeremy Skaggs officiating.



W.H. “DUB” WILLEY

W.H. “Dub” Willey, 79, lifelong resident of Talala, passed away April 23, 2009 in Tulsa. He was born Sept. 5, 1929, in Talala to Anderson and Eulalie (Bible) Willey. He married Marie Penner on May 27, 1950, in Charleston, Ark. He spent 37 years with Southwestern Bell retiring in 1987 as a repeaterman. He enjoyed being outdoors, crappie fishing, family fish fries, and spending time playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 58 year, Marie, of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law; Shirley and Jim Vanderpool, Sharon and Steve Wigginton, all of Oologah, and Renita and Mike Oldacre, of Talala; seven grandchildren, Brian Wigginton and his wife, Nicole, of Oologah, Scott Vanderpool and his wife, Kayce, of Flower Mound, Texas, Mark Vanderpool and his wife, Ralawnda, of Broken Arrow, Matt and Cody Oldacre of Talala, Karen McElhaney and her husband, Josh, of Tulsa, and Angela Troutt and her husband, Justin, of Talala; nine great-grandchildren; Traton and Paden Vanderpool, Brook and Brett Wigginton, Grant and Garrett Vanderpool, Kara and Kelsey McElhaney, and Grayson Troutt; two sisters, Arvilla Sanders of Claremore and Bessie Casey of Nowata; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 28 at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church in Oologah, with Pastor Casey Warford officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Talala.



KAREN HEDRICK
Karen Ann Hedrick, 70, of Talala, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 in Collinsville. She was born Feb. 1, 1939 in North Platte, Neb. to Leonard Mills and the former Lucy Stillwell. She is survived by her husband, John of the home; her mother, Lucy Mills of North Platte, Neb.; two children, Linda Smith and her husband, Robert, of Talala and Vernon Hedrick and his wife, Crystal, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two brothers, Martin Mills and his wife, Sandy, of Bedford, Texas and Kent Mills and his wife, Maryann, of Springfield, Mo.; and two grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 21, at the chapel at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.



TIMOTHY KLOCK
Timothy Michael “Tim” Klock, 28, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009. He was born Jan. 27, 1981 in Binghamton, NY to Michael James and Maureen (Simms) Klock. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma and graduated high school in Oologah. His most recent employment was with Burgess-Norton in Claremore. He is survived by his mother, Maureen Simms of Claremore; stepfather, Robert Malloy and his wife, Kim, of Talala; son, Eian Michael Klock of Vinita; brother, James Simms, of Tulsa, Daniel Malloy of Talala, Dane Malloy of Florida, Bob Malloy, Jr. of South Carolina; grandparents Robert Klock of Binghamton, NY, and Steve and Shirley Kelly of Central Bridge, NY; as well as many extended family members and friends. Services were held Tuesday, April 14, at Chapel of the Garden, Rice Funeral Service.



MILLARD SMALYGO, JR.
Millard Theodore Smalygo Jr., 64, of Collinsville, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009. He was born Nov. 19, 1944 in Collinsville to Millard Stanley Smalygo and the former Loyce Ruth Vanderpool. He is survived by his wife, Janet, of the home; four children, Kristin Kuykendall and her husband, Bo, of Oologah, Kyle and his wife, Megan, of Collinsville, Kent and his wife, Landi, of Owasso and Kelly and his wife, Angela, of Claremore; nine grandchildren, Chandee, Cole, and Braytin Kuykendall, Gracen and Millie Smalygo, Taylor Davis, Preslea and Ciara Smalygo and Jenna Smalygo; five brothers and sisters, Barbara Lang and her husband, Don, of Collinsville, Glenn Smalygo and his wife, Ann, of Skiatook, Donna Snook and her husband, Bobby, of Oologah, Linda Raines and her husband, Jim, of Flippin, Ark. and Ernie Smalygo of Collinsville; mother-in-law, Erma Anderson of Collinsville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today (Thursday), April 23, at the Collinsville Community Church with Rev. Helmer Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. Donations may be sent to the Memorial Fund at the Collinsville Community Church.



LAWRENCE BUMP

Lawrence Perry Bump, 71, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his home. He was born Sept. 30, 1937 in the Harmony Starr area. He retired from American Airlines in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home; one son, Windy Bump of Claremore; one daughter, Theresa Smith of Claremore; one brother, Hershel “Buck” Bump and wife, Delores of Coffeyville, Kan.; sisters, Josephine Faught of Claremore, Emma Jean Pearson and husband, Darrel, of Oologah, Joy Brugman and husband, Glenn, of Oologah and Ivone Dick and husband, Jay, of Claremore; grandchildren, Jennifer Spurlock, Marvin Porche, Dustin Bump, Dawn Waggoner, Norma Porche, and Brandy Cooper; 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were held Monday, April 13 at the Claremore Assembly of God with Pastor Nathan Faught officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service and Crematory.



CAROLYN J. FELL

Carolyn J. (Tharp) Fell, 64, of Oologah, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa. She was born Sept. 11, 1944 in Hastings, Neb. to Harold Sr. and Hattie E. (Rothfuss) Tharp. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1962. On March 2, 1967 she married Lawrence A. “Larry” Fell. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Oologah. She is survived by her husband, Larry, of Oologah; one son, Mark and wife Tracey Fell; one daughter, Susan and husband James Ulrich; grandchildren, Erica, Rachel and James Fell, all of Traverse City, Mich.; two brothers, Robert G. Tharp of Juniata, Neb., Harold Jr. and wife Peggy Tharp of Olathe, Kan.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Luz Fell of Lansing, Mich.; sister of the heart, Sookje Bayer of Scottsville, Mich. and many nieces and nephews. Services were April 9 at the Oologah United Methodist Church under the direction of Moore Funeral Home in Owasso.



JOHN PRITCHETT

John Luther Pritchett, 71, of Oologah, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Tulsa. He was born Feb. 9, 1938 in Las Cruces, N.M. to Marion Luther Pritchett and the former Dovie Darlene Madison. He had lived in Oologah for 18 years, moving from Beckley, W.Va. He retired in 1994 having worked as a master mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Kay of the home; one son, Marion Pritchett of Oologah; one daughter, Laura Clevenger of Illinois; one brother, Joe Pritchett of Las Cruces, N.M.; one sister, Dovie Ryan of Broken Arrow; seven grandchildren, M.L. Pritchett of Tulsa, Amber Rashid of Tulsa, Johnny Pritchett of St. Louis, Mo., Ashley Pritchett of Oologah, Jimmy Pritchett of Owasso, Megan Vanderpool of Chelsea and Amanda Pritchett of Owasso and five great-grandchildren. Services were Monday, April 13 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating. Services were under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Collinsville Library or the V.F.W.



KATIE DOUGLASS

Services for Mary Kathryn “Katie” Douglass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at Oologah First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, under the direction of Rice Funeral Service. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. today (Thursday, April 9). Katie passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009. She was 88. She was born May 29, 1920 in Greenwood, Ark., to Oscar Samuel, Sr., and Gertie O. (Adams) Jones. On Dec. 25, 1942, Katie and Orval Douglas were married while he was on leave from the Army. The owned and operated a bait shop in Oologah, “Dougs,” from 1966-1974. In 1974, they owned and operated the Sunnyside bait shop in Talala, until Mr. Douglass’ passing in 1977. Katie was also a member of the Town Council. Katie is survived by her children, Sherry Norman and husband, Gene, of Oologah and Pam Norman and her husband, Roger, of Claremore; grandchildren Robert Norman, Kathy Lahmeyer and husband James, Jennifer Norman, Orval Gene Norman and Whitney Norman, all of Claremore; and great-grandchildren Jordan, Bradley, Payton, Cameron and Courtney Lahmeyer and her companion, Tauvin, a dachshund.



CAROLYN FELL

Carolyn Joyce Fell, 64, of Oologah, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 at the Oologah United Methodist Church. Obituary information was not available at press time.
